Dharamshala
Dharamshala is 9 kms away from McLeod Ganj, 16 kms away from Kangra, 84 kms away from Pathankot, 115 kms away from Dalhousie, 194 kms away from Kullu, 234 kms away from Manali, 237 kms away from Shimla, 486 kms away from Delhi.

It is mainly famous because of Tibetan institutions, culture, Buddhist monasteries, arts and lastly crafts. Dharamkot, Bhagsu, Dal lake, Triund are major attractions. Buddhist monasteries such as Namgyal, Tsechokling Gompa, Tsuglagkhang are also common tourist locations. You have to start from McLeod Ganj in order to cover Kangra, Chamba valleys for trekking purposes.
